I love granola, but I usually do not buy the ones from the supermarket as they contain too much added sugar and not many nutrients.
So I tried to make my own for the very first time, and it came out perfectly. It so delicious. And it was very easy and quick to make too.
Here’s the recipe.
This recipe makes 300g of granola, which equals to 10 portions of 30g.
Ingredients:
· 1 cup of rolled oats
· ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
· ¼ cup sunflower seeds
· 1 tbsp sesame seeds
· ½ cup of walnuts
· ½ cup almonds
· 1 tbsp of chia seeds
· ¼ cup shredded coconut
· ¼ cup maple syrup
· ¼ cup coconut oil
Method:
· Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl
· Bake for 8 minutes at 180, then take it out the oven, stir and bake it for another 6 minutes
· Enjoy
Nutrition facts per 1 serving: 230 kcal, 15g of carbs, 5g of sugar, 3g of fiber, 15g fats and 5g of protein. It also contains B vitamins, vitamin E, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Phosphorus, Potassium, Selenium and Zinc!
